Acerola (Malpighia emarginata), also known as the "Barbados cherry", is one of the richest sources of vitamin C. It contains up to 100 times more vitamin C than, for example, oranges or lemons. Compared to vitamin C, acerola also contains provitamin A, B vitamins and minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, zinc and iron. It is also a source of a number of health-promoting phytonutrients, including carotenoids, phenols, flavonoids and anthocyanins.
Vitamin C contributes to maintaining the normal function of the immune system, even during and after intense physical exercise.

Our acerola contains only 100% pure unstandardized powder from freeze-dried acerola cherries in organic quality, without added maltodextrin and l-ascorbic acid. Vitamin C from acerola is absorbed better by the human body than synthetic ascorbic acid. This is mainly due to the presence of phytonutrients that affect the bioavailability of vitamin C. In fact, this product is closer to a food than a dietary supplement.
