Antarctic krill oil
Krill is the name given to small marine crustaceans belonging to the order Euphausiacea, which resemble shrimps in appearance. These tiny creatures live in large schools in the cold waters of the oceans, especially in Antarctica. Krill is a rich source of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, which occur in the form of phospholipids, ensuring their excellent absorption by the body. Krill also naturally contains the unique astaxanthin, which gives it its red color, and choline, which contributes to normal liver function and normal lipid metabolism.
